1. Privacy Commitment

Pragnesh S Desai (Prime Investment Services), ARN-36435, AMFI-Registered Mutual Fund Distributor, is committed to maintaining the privacy, confidentiality and security of personal information collected from investors and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), the Information Technology Act, 2000, the SEBI Master Circular for Mutual Funds and the AMFI Master Circular for MFDs.

2. Scope & Applicability

This policy applies to all individuals interacting with Prime Investment Services through this website, during client onboarding, Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, risk profiling and mutual fund transaction processing. By engaging with us or using this website, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this policy.

3. Information We Collect

We collect identity information such as name, date of birth, PAN, Aadhaar (where required for KYC), photograph and signature; contact information such as address, mobile number and email; financial information such as bank account details, income range, investment details and risk profile responses; and regulatory information such as FATCA/CRS self-certification and nomination details. Information is collected directly from you at the time of onboarding, through KYC documents, and through the transaction platforms and RTAs.

4. Purpose of Use

Personal data is used only for KYC completion and verification, risk profiling, processing of mutual fund transactions, investor servicing, sending account and portfolio information, grievance handling, and reporting required under applicable law and regulations. Your data is not used for any purpose beyond these without your consent.

5. Sharing of Information

Your information is shared only where required for your investments: with the concerned AMCs and their Registrar and Transfer Agents (CAMS and KFintech) for transaction processing; with KYC Registration Agencies and CKYC for KYC verification; with the Stock Exchange platforms and MF Utilities for order processing and settlement; and with SEBI, AMFI or auditors appointed by them upon official requirement. We do not sell, rent or share your personal or financial data with any marketing agency, advertising platform or unrelated third party. Any sharing beyond the above happens only with your explicit written consent.

6. Data Storage & Security

Digital records are maintained on password-protected systems with restricted access and periodic backups. Physical documents are kept in secure storage at our registered office at Valsad with restricted access. Antivirus and security software, strong password practices and secure network practices are followed. Client data is not stored on personal devices.

7. Data Retention & Disposal

Client records are retained for the period prescribed under applicable SEBI regulations, AMFI guidelines, the PMLA Rules and the Income Tax Act. After the mandatory retention period, physical records are securely destroyed and digital records are permanently deleted from all storage locations.

8. Your Rights under DPDPA, 2023

You have the right to access your personal data held by us, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, request erasure of your data subject to regulatory retention requirements, withdraw your consent for data processing at any time (which may affect our ability to continue providing services), and lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India if you believe your data rights have been violated.
